I am a PhD student of political science at the University of Arizona in the School of Government & Public Policy. My areas of study are within International Relations and Comparative Politics. My research focuses on both conflict and post-conflict environments. In particular, I am interested in the impact of conflict on human security, extent of post-conflict development, and subsequent peace processes.

As of Spring 2017, I am in my third year of study, and have a number of continuing projects that focus on identifying shocks and their effects, regional-level conflict analysis, and the evaluation of human rights and peace-related processes.
